While Town Lake Animal Center will be closed for the holiday on Monday, January 17, the APA! Adoption Resource Center at 2807 Manchaca Road will be open from noon until 7 p.m. Its “name your own price” adoption rates continue throughout the long weekend. On Sunday, January 16 from 11 a.m to 6 p.m “Austinville 78704” will be celebrating their Grand Opening just across the street from the Austin Pets Alive! Adoption & Resource Center. Amy’s Ice Cream, Phil’s Ice House, The Soup Peddler & Juicebox will be donating 10% of sales during the event to the organization.
